    Business Center for New Americans
      NYANA's Business Center for New Americans, a department within NYANA, was started in 1996 to assist immigrants and refugees to start and expand micro and small businesses by serving as a "one stop shop" for information on resources, technical assistance, classroom training, and loans [from $500 to $35,000] from NYANA's Microloan Fund and other financial institutions. Classroom training and technical assistance is offered through the Microenterprise Development Program for Immigrants and Refugees and a Women's Business Center which is funded by the SBA.
