Women's Business Resource Center provides instrumental information, training, individual counseling and opportunities for women interested in starting or expanding their business. The center provides assistance and/or training in finance, management, marketing, procurement and the Internet as well as addressing specialized topics such as home-based businesses, corporate executive downsizing and welfare-to-work. The SBA's Bronx Women’s Business Resource Center is an assistance division of the Hunts Point Economic Development Corporation. WBRC offers individual business counseling, mentoring, networking opportunities, and access to financial resources. The Center also holds monthly informational roundtables, internet training and an intensive 14 week entrepreneurship training course. WBRC partners with a variety of business service providers such as banks, community organizations, colleges, small business development centers, SBA, and SCORE to offer the most comprehensive range of services for their clients. Additionally, all of the programming is offered in both English and Spanish.
